Eclipsed by the Hills, written by Ari Treuhaft in year 32, was one of my all-time favorites. Josh Eisenberger's alma mater from year 31 and "Thank You Manavu" from year 29 (no idea who wrote it) were also gorgeous.

It has to be the last alma mater ever sung in camp. Year 38, written by Chaim Kazan - original tune.
"Brothers old and young Life-lasting bonds Family we've become MaNaVu Tears streaming from my eyes MaNaVu It hurts to say goodbye"

Or the unpublished post-MNV Alma Mater by Philip Blass
Camp Ma-Na-Vu Alma Mater
TTTO: Aleinu (Yoni Stern)
Low 1
Up in camp for my first days,
I can’t help but feel lost in a daze.
It’ll never be the same, I have to start anew,
My heart begins to yearn for Ma-Na-Vu.
Low 2
Warm memories conjure up in my mind,
I think back to all I’ve left behind.
The friendships that I've made, the bond with my counselor,
Oh, Ma-Na-Vu! Stay with me forever!
CHORUS
High 1
Deep within the hills, of legends and pure thrills,
Where my magical dreams are fulfilled.
Its everlasting love, a place I call my own,
I’ll do anything to come back home!
High 2
Memories so clear, friendships I hold dear,
Feeling that you've left me makes me tear.
But though the years go by, you’ll never leave my side,
My inner Camp Ma-Na-Vu will burn bright!
Low 3
From energy pulsating Heller nights,
To the rolling hills and breathtaking sights.
Plays, activities, laughs with no ending,
The Zemiros and majestic Grand Sing.
Low 4
Camp mastermind from the start,
True energy stemming from his heart.
A leader with the vision, supreme camping,
Rabbi Klein, thank you for everything!
CHORUS
Low 5
I begin to look around my new bunk,
Almost done unpacking my large trunk.
Yet tucked neatly at the bottom, a shirt of deep sea blue,
Its letters cry to me: “Camp Ma-Na-Vu!”
CHORUS

wow jonnie james that's a name from last lifetime. Still remember when you would come face painted to breakfast on the day of the heller games. it would be awesome if we could vamp this up. maybe get videos and pictures from the kliens. get this website moving, a way to reconnect with old camp friends.
